Creation vs. Evolution

Journal Entry: Sun May 4, 2008, 7:05 PM
  • Mood: Artistic
  • Listening to: Old Crow Medicine Show
Which one do believe in, after this journal and probably after finals are done I will explain evolution and why it is an undeniable truth. But lets see your opinions. Maybe this will be a new thing, this vs. Its kinda cool to see what people think. Oh and my last one, it was about even on who likes which movies, Star Wars or Indiana Jones. 50/50

Thanks everyone for all of your support, until next time.

yea its not pretty cool stuff um its not that big probably 3 in max? but you cant beat lightning induced super heated rock/sand yay! Well thats cool, a lot of awesome geodes come from brazil, yea if you look hard enough can find some sweet plant fossils here too, though a lot of the places are over picked now or our friend agriculture has sadly demolished a lot of the cool places to look, but its still fun to look around :)

fulgerite, I just saw one of those a few days ago at a store, never heard of it before, but apparently it forms when lightning hits the ground and superheats the sand. Its pretty sweet, Im sure you knew that though. How big is yours? For me, its been pretty good, just got a huge amethyst geode from brazil and a friend and I went out today and collected some pretty sweet Pennsylvanian plant fossils from around here.

Whenever I seem to have a free day like i was going to have today something pops up and I have to do something else. Oh well, summer will be here in about a week, then we can do all the fossil and mineral hunting we want! YAY I cant wait for summer, school is driving me nuts!

Heh I know the feeling, I havent found many completely intact crinoids though must say I havent had much time to go fossil hunting for awhile, last time was on my geology class trip, never know where there be crinoids most likely trilobites and some awesome corals might lurk about as well, happy fossil hunting!

not for about a month but once school is over i will. I have been out a lot lately though collecting fossils from around this area. I just found out that there is an area just north of here that has some awesome crinoids and such. Thats the best feeling ever when you find something incredible like a fully preserved crinoid. I love it!
